How We Met

Andrew and Megan met in January of 2013 at the local movie theater in town through a mutual friend who Megan worked with at the local Credit Union.  They began talking through social media where they ended up going on a date after a mutual interest in books. They began dating casually until Valentine’s Day where they became official. 

For two years of dating, they went through a lot together taking care of family and later moving in together. In March of 2015 Andrew proposed to Megan outside in the courtyard under the lights in Utica Square. After a year of being engaged they were married in March of 2016 by Megan’s high school youth pastor and Andrew’s fellow coworker at the OKWU chapel in town where they celebrated with their families and friends.  

Shortly after they were wed, they went to the Bahamas and celebrated their honeymoon.  In the almost 5 years of marriage, they have traveled to Vegas, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, and Grenada to vacation, visit family, go to celebrations, and site see. 

They bought their first home together shortly after they were married knowing they wanted to build their family and open their home to children.
